THE latest arrival to the Porte Marsh Industrial Estate, Calne Self Store, has opened its doors to customers.

The new storage facility on Harris Road will be offering clean, dry, safe and secure storage for customers in rooms ranging from 25sq feet to 190sq feet.

The brand new rooms, across three floors, are all individually alarmed with a six figure personalise pin entry system and are available on short or long term deals for individuals and businesses.

Director Peter Munk said: “It’s an anxious time but it’s an exciting time too, we are looking forward to the challenge.

“We are hoping to fill it up and then double the size of it in the future. We have nothing around here like this purpose built self storage, there’s nothing like it until you get to Swindon and Bath.

“The new lift is massive; you could move half a house into it and move it upstairs. If anyone has to have a room on the first or second floor you wouldn’t need to worry about going up stairs.”

Access for customers is free and unlimited during opening hours, 9am to 6pm weekdays and 9am to 1pm on Saturday, and by appointment at other times.
