BLUE Sky Festival is coming to Corsham with a performance from comedian Mark Watson and singer Cara Dillon, as well as exhibitions and workshops.

The four-day event, run by Pound Arts, begins next Thursday (June 11) until the Sunday (June 14), with some events free and a festival pass to all the ticketed events costing £40. The theme of the event is ‘journeys’.

There will be a range of free family exhibitions and workshops, including tap dancing tasters, making festival flags, a family art trail, exhibitions by young photo journalists, sculpture and theatre.

Opening the Festival on the Thursday is Edinburgh Award Winner and Time Out Critic’s Choice comedian, Mark Watson, who will be at Springfield Community Campus at 8pm. Tickets cost £15.

Cara Dillon will also be at Springfield Community Campus on the Saturday (June 13) at 7.30pm. She will be performing with her husband and collaborator Sam Lakeman and will be supported by The Little Unsaid. Tickets cost £18.

The campus is one of a number of venues across the town which is providing entertainment. The festival is supported by Wiltshire Council, Corsham Town Council and Arts Council England.
